TimeSplitters 2 for Xbox
It's little wonder that even in a comprised package- which the original TimeSplitters very much was- incredible potential for even more was clearly evident; it was, after all, the brainchild of the men and women who brought us 007: GoldenEye and Perfect Dark on the Nintendo 64. It's safe to say that said potential was fully realised in TimeSplitters 2, a game so thoroughly excellent that you could make the argument that it remains the most playable FPS title of it's era. The irreverent, wacky comedy stylings from the first game have been amplified to further ludicrous degrees, the campaign mode has an actual narrative this go 'round, the legendary multiplayer mode is even more customisable and flexible then it was to begin with, and the gameplay is even tighter and more well balanced then it was before. Make no mistake; TimeSplitters 2 is nothing short of a masterpiece.
