The Challenge Will Always Be There
Hardcore Sega nerds (myself included) will recognize this immortal quote from an early Master System commercial from way back in 1987. I can hardly believe it has been over 25 years since the console's début but they weren't at all wrong with this bold claim! Some truly legendary titles have made it to Sega's first real console including the likes of Double Dragon, Sonic The Hedgehog, World Grand Prix, Smash TV, Ninja Gaiden, R-Type and the French comic-inspired Astérix which we have right here.
In total we took delivery of a very tasty 79 of these retro games today, all of which now sit proudly in the database. Expect them to be live within the next two weeks. I for one am having a blast play-testing them all.
Oh, and for those interested here is the aforementioned commercial. They don't make them like this anymore!
In other slightly less interesting news we have acquired a huge box of factory sealed DreamKey 3.0 disks for the Sega Dreamcast, which we'll probably be giving out in the coming weeks. These are currently the best legitimate way to play online with your Dreamcast, and are particularly useful for users playing original dial-up gems such as Quake 3 Arena.
