Worms Armageddon [Sold Out] for Windows PC
Just two years after Worms 2 took the world by storm, Worms Armageddon exploded onto the scene with a simple goal in mind; keep on carrying on with that “the same, but bigger” mindset from its immediate predecessor. The graphical style of the game, the various FMV sequences, the range of weapons and the core gameplay have all been taken from Worms 2, but the level of customisation has been greatly expanded from the last outing, allowing almost complete control over the weapons, health, team count, winning conditions, and level layout in both single player skirmishes and multiplayer matches.
In addition to this, Worms Armageddon features a single player campaign mode comprised of a number of premade missions, a death match mode where the player fights through a series of battles with increasingly uneven odds stacked against them, and even the return of both online and local multiplayer. Overall, Worms Armageddon is not only the definitive successor to the original game, but it’s still a fantastic game in its own right, offering fast, frenetic fun and more then a few giggles for anyone willing to give it a go.
The game has continued to receive support from Team 17 in the years following its release, with the most recent patch for the game appearing on March 19, 2013.
