Our Thoughts

In 1984 Arnold Schwarzenegger exploded into the Hollywood spotlight as The Terminator, he is now royalty of the action genre after 3 successful sequels. The game of the same name is directly based on James Cameron's sci-fi epic, in spite of being released nearly a decade after the film, and one year after Terminator 2.

Released on all game systems that were available at the time, the timing couldn't have been better as T2 broke box office records and the popularity of Schwarzenegger and the franchise was at its highest. After all of this talk about Schwarzenegger it is actually Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn's character) that you as the gamer will be. Propelled into the 80's straight from the future it's up to you to ensure the safety of Sarah Connor - future resistance leader John Connors' mother - and destroy the seemingly invincible Terminator who's hell-bent on killing the both of you!

You start the game in the future, armed with high tech weapons and explosives, before you're sent back in time to LA, where all you're armed with is a shotgun! You tackle various sequences that emulate scenes of the film, before a one to one showdown with the terminator in the Cyberdyne factory. Needless to say this game will keep you reliving the 'I'll be back' moment all night long.
