    Our Thoughts

Skyrim combines epic story with an open world experience, without ever locking the player into one particular playstyle. You are free to become the hardcore mage thief that succumbs to death after the slightest of scratches (afterall, you're so sneaky why would you ever need to waste time increasing health) that you've always wanted to be, or perhaps magic is for wimps and a much better solution is to swing that bulky two-handed sword at all of your problems until they go away.

The well written story of Skyrim often falls victim to the many hours of side content that is determined to seduce you away from the story and murder endless bandits in the pursuit of more items, because lets face it, you can never have enough shinies. They weren't using their shinies, and now you are.... to get more shinies. Once your greed-induced murder rampage is finally over, there are many sidequests for the player to complete (or just "finish" the quest by killing those that dare expect you to do things, afterall you're Dovahkiin and do favours for no one), and areas of beautiful scenary such as the mountains and snowy plains.

The legendary edition contains three additional content packs: Hearthfire, Dawnguard and Dragonborn. Hearthfire enables you to build your own manors in three different locations, because where else are you going to hoard your endless supply of loot but in the cupboard that can hold 500 sets of steel armour. Both Dawnguard and Dragonborn contain their own storyline, and just like the base game also include hours of side content that will pull you away from progressing the story.
