Our Thoughts

Sonic Colours was something of a breath of fresh air for the franchise; stripping away the slower combat sections from the previous game, refining and tightening the now standard Sonic gameplay that mixes manic speed with complex platforming, packaged together with bright, crisp, and imaginative visuals and levels, infectiously catchy and upbeat music, and further pushing the cheesy and vaguely self aware humour to it's ultimate extreme. Sonic Colours was a step in the right direction for the long running franchise and, though not as experimental as its immediate predecessor, it remains a very playable entry, and a worthwhile addition to anyones collection.
