Resident Evil Code: Veronica X [Platinum] for PlayStation 2
After her search for her brother in Raccoon City yielded no results (surviving a zombie apocalypse aside), Claire Redfield has taken her search global, winding up in an Umbrella Corp. office located in Paris. However, as she is a girl with a bike, a gun, a Queen bodywarmer and not much more, she winds up captured and shipped off to some godforsaken island under the dastardly pharmaceutical + bioweapon developer's jurisdiction, no doubt with the intent of being kept there to rot- literally, knowing Umbrella. However, as this IS Umbrella we're talking about, it doesn't take long until the requisite viral outbreak hits, as an army of corpses, mutants, and god knows what else soon begins wrecking havoc on the facility. After being let out of her cell by a somewhat merciful guard, Claire finds herself knee deep in another nightmare fraught with peril, menace, and more intersecting plotlines then you can shake a stick at. Considered by many the "true" third Resident Evil game, this slightly upgraded version of CODE: Veronica boasts all the amenities of the original release- fully 3D environments, upgradeable weapons (returning from Resident Evil 2), the ever handy 180 degree turn from Resident Evil 3, and sets them alongside additional cutscenes, and minor graphical upgrades.
