Hello Neighbor for Xbox One
Ahhhh, the cosy pleasantness of Suburbia; chirping birds, friendly mail-men, backyard BBQ's and a whole host of other clichés and niceties that we've all come to associate with quiet streets outside the big city. Some may consider the setting dull, to be sure, but just because a scene moves slow doesn't mean it ain't worth taking in from time to time. Besides, if nothing else, you can be certain that you left all the debauchery, perverseness, and cruelty behind in the cold urban sprawls; nothing bad EVER happens in quaint little neighbourhoods like this.
At least, that's what you keep telling yourself whenever you see your new neighbour- a dumpy middle aged man with a moustache and a sweater-vest- skulking around his house at odd hours... or when you hear strange noises coming from inside. For weeks you tell yourself you've over-thinking things, but you just can't shake this ugly feeling that somewhere deep in that house, something... altogether unsavoury is happening. Curiosity gets the better of you, eventually; you have to know what's going on, in hopes that it's benign and so you may alert the authorities if it isn't.
But, well... you know what they say about curiosity, don't you?
Developed by Dynamic Pixels and published by tinyBuild, Hello Neighbor is a stealth-based survival horror game with a fairly unique premise for the genre, and a whole lotta suspense to build within each and every player that dares enter their neighbour's abode, determined to uncover the truth but perhaps not ready to handle it...
