Forza Motorsport for Xbox
Here it is, folks; the game that launched a multi-million selling franchise that remains extremely popular to this very day. As this is the very first in the Forza series, developed for a machine two entire console generations behind the current ones, you’d probably expect this to be a somewhat humble package. You’d be very, very mistaken in your assumptions.
For starters, the game features two main modes of play; an Arcade Mode, intended for quick pick-up-and-play sessions, and a full fledged Career Mode, with a pretty decent amount of depth and meat to it. Several different kinds of motorsports are represented here, as well, from racing common commuter cars to more serious racing disciplines such as Grand Touring, as just one example. The game contains a total of 231 cars, each of them fully customisable in both appearance and performance, and several racing circuits both borrowed from the real world and entirely fictional in nature. Make no mistake; this is a loaded package, and an extremely strong start for a series that would only continue soaring to greater and greater heights as it continued.
