EyeToy: Play 2 for PlayStation 2
The first direct sequel to the immensely popular party game, EyeToy: Play 2 expands on the original in a couple of noteworthy ways. The first and most obvious is that it contains a much larger list of games- a total of 12 main games and a whopping 75 bonus games, which can be played in both single player and multiplayer modes. A brand new Tournament mode is also introduced, allowing players to compete for points throughout the games sequentially. The biggest improvements, however, revolve around the EyeToy itself; the game makes use of the capabilities of the peripheral that the original game didn’t, including including being able to detect the speed and force of motion, and increased hotspot accuracy over the original; it also allows the users to capture pictures or even record video. The latter can be used as a part of the most curious feature of the game, the SpyToy, a setting which turns the peripheral into a spy camera that activates when it detects motion, playing prerecorded messages.
