Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle for PlayStation 3
Morgane Castillo is a woman of relatively simple goals; she wants nothing more then to follow in her fathers’ footsteps, and become a great pirate in the process. Well, we suppose that includes wanting the various wares and plunders from her excursions, but eh, semantics. Specifically, she has hey eyes on the legendary Golden Turtle, and is convinced that her path to glory isn’t complete without it. Nothing worth having comes easy, of course, and standing between her and her eventual prize are 50 locations spread across five lovingly rendered islands, an abundance of mysteries and puzzles in need of sleuthing and solving, clues that need deciphering, around 40 odd characters to engage with, and a dozen additional minigames peppered throughout for extra replay value. This send up of the classic Adventure games of old flew underneath many radars during it’s release, but is well worth a curious glance over for fans of the genre in need of a fresh experience.
