24 Wii U Titles Leaked

A list of the third-party games that will be available on upcoming console Wii U has been leaked earlier today, after a screenshot from the Blockbuster internal systems showed the names under the console's code. While some are as expected, there are a few that may pique the interest of gamers looking forward to the console's release.

Slated for possible release in December this year, around the same time as the Sony PS4 and Xbox 720, the Wii U will face some serious competition. The official line-up launch is expected to take place during E3 2012 on the 5th of June, at which stage we will know for sure whether the leaked list is the real deal or just a hoax. The fact that we were already aware of a few of them could suggest a higher likelihood of the titles being genuine, but only time can tell.

The Wii U is expected to have a unique touch pad controller with a pair of wireless Bluetooth 3-axis motion controllers, two circular analogue pads and d-pad controllers, as well as a 6.2 inch screen for viewing images and videos. Along with a string of other updates, this is expected to be the biggest, as it will be possible to play certain games using the controller's screen without needing to turn on the TV monitor attached to the console.

The full list of titles leaked is as follows:

  • Aliens: Colonial Marines
  • Assassins Creed
  • Splinter Cell 6
  • Batman: Arkham City
  • Darksiders II
  • Ninja Garden
  • Dirt 3
  • Monsters Party
  • New Super Mario Mii
  • Just Dance 4
  • Shield Pose
  • Killer Freaks from Outer Space
  • Marvel Super Heros
  • Pikmin
  • Rabbids Party Land
  • Raving Rabbids
  • Metro Last Night
  • Sports Connection
  • Tekken
  • Your Shape 2013
  • Zombie
  • Formula One: All Stars
  • Game Party
  • Ghost Recon

It will certainly be interesting to compare this list with the one we get out of E3.
