Blast Radius for PlayStation
Alien is an ever present threat faced by our galaxy, but thankfully, the elite Wolf Squadron offers some line of defence against attack. That is, it did, until betrayal amongst the ranks and a subsequent wiping out of a majority of the unit leaves a lone mercenary, Kayne, as the last member. Not long after, he finds himself enlisted by a peace loving race called the Vorns to take care of a force threatening their continued existence (and backing said threats with an immeasurable number of deadly weapons), the evil Kotan-Kai. Thankfully, the Vorns offer up their equally sophisticated assault vehicles and weapons to Kayne for use, to help aid in the oncoming battle. Not one to argue why a pacifistic society is armed to the teeth, Kayne takes them up on their offer and sets out with nine different kinds of vehicles, each with their own primary weapons, additional arms, and specialised attributes such as skimming torpedoes, lock-on lasers, and even nuclear arms, braving 40 levels of intense action that’ll leave you sitting at the edge of your seat.
