Our Thoughts

This rare second release of Assault City makes full use of the Master System Light Phaser (which is required to play) after the original version mysteriously lack support for the popular accessory.

The future is a dark and mechanical place in Assault City for the Sega Master System. Set in the late 21st century, where robots were human aids, exceptional machines that made human life a comfort and luxurious thing. However the seemingly futuristic utopia is now a thing of the past, the control system that is in place to function the robots and that programmes them all to be useful, helpful wonderful creations has turned, there’s a robot revolt and the only message the control system is sending the robots is to KILL.

Any human being that walks talks and breathes air is being brutally annihilated and the human population is rapidly decreasing. Gamers play as Joe, one of the last of the humans capable of stopping the robots. Joe has a huge task ahead of him and a mountain of armed and seemingly invincible robots, imagine battling hundreds of Terminators, the soldier had enough trouble against one in the first movie.

Assault City has everything you could want from a science fiction all action game, blast your way through tonnes of cast iron enemies and make scrap metal out of them! This game is a vintage classic and a must play for any retro gamer.

Excellent condition. The box, cartridge, and manual are all included and are in superb condition. A true collectors' piece!
