Assassin's Creed II: Game of the Year Edition for PlayStation 3
Assassins Creed II was the massively successful follow up to the original Ancestor-Memory-Building-Hoping-Historical-Meta-Fiction action game that promised more of the same and then some, so a limited edition rerelease of the game was an absolute certainty. In the role of anti-hero Eizo, an incredibly skilled assassin with something of a chip on his shoulder, is out for revenge against the people who betrayed his family, and is fully prepared to tear through 15th century to achieve it, uncovering a number of ugly truths in the process. Said warpath involves solving puzzles, collection statues, feathers and seals, and decoding codex pages. This Platinum Edition version of the game contains the complete version of the main game, and both Battle Of Fiorli and Bonfire Of Vanities, re-mastered as on-disc additions, as well as the secret Templar Lairs in Palazzo Medici, Santa Maria dei Frari, and the Arsenal Shipyard; with these extra additions on top of the free roaming action of the original experience, this is easily the definitive version of the game.
