Armored Core 4 for PlayStation 3
Imagine a world overrun by corporations, zero governments, and populated by a wealth of Mech pilots- one of which you find yourself in the role of. You will undertake various missions appointed to you by corporate assignment, up to and including attacking enemy units under the command of rival corporations, or preventing attacks against your own before they even start. The price you earn for you hard work is directly proportional to the amount of damage you take in the line of fire, so it (quite literally) pays to be careful. The world around you is designed with interactivity in mind, allowing you to break walls and make use of light to uncover foes, or capitalise on the swirling effect of water to set up your own ambush; that interactivity also extends to your Mech, as the only restriction in regards to customising your Mech are your aforementioned funds; lethal arms, impregnable armour, and inner workings that can be repeatedly tinkered are all available to play around with. Online Multiplayer modes allow data exchange, emblems, and robots to be bartered.
