Advance Wars for Game Boy Advance
Andy, as Commanding Officer of the Orange Star Army, is blamed for starting a baseless war with neighbouring countries. The game can be played in Field Training, Campaign, War Room, and Map Design modes. The first is the learning mode, which doesn't really need explaining. In the campaign mode, players are ranked from 100 to 1, with 1 being the best after getting coins which provide additional COs maps from the Battle Maps outlet.
The duration of your campaign, the number of enemy units you took down, and a count of your units that escaped destruction award a rank for the player too. Primary and secondary weapons have a particular range of targets they can hit. Terrain is another variable in the equation, and changes in this also deeply affect the battle. There are 18 units graded according to a range of abilities and limitations.
Read through the intentions and intrigue of your enemy to discern friend from foe and apply discretion in use of a specific type of weapon. Your options taken along the game in the end, impact on the choice of COs who will win the war in the end.
